SALVATION ARMlY APPEAL. In connection with their annual appeal for funds, the Salvation Army are organising a button day for Friday, October 21. The arrangements are in the hands of a competent committee, which will meet this afternoon at 3 o’clock, in the Fortress, Pier-street. The button is of emblematical design, being a black swan, with boomerang, and the words “Western Australia.”
