‘Sailors’ Rest. — In announcing a proposed ‘Jack’s Button Day’ on April 20: at. Perth, Fremantle, Kalgoorlie and other places, in aid of the funds of the W.C.T.U. Sailors’ Rest, at Fremantle, Mrs. Nantesson said that the Rest was in opposition to the hotels because tho effort was to keep men away from drink while they were in port. Free meals and beds were also given to destitute sailors.
